Scarlet Skips uses a single-button control scheme. Press and hold any button to charge your jump, release to skip. The game supports keyboard (spacebar), mouse (left click), and controller (any button).

The rope moves in a consistent rhythm. Your goal is to release the button at the exact moment the rope reaches the ground. Perfect timing gives bonus points and maintains your combo. The timing window starts generous but tightens as you climb higher.

The rope makes a distinct sound as it approaches the ground. Many players find it easier to time jumps by ear than by sight. Use the audio cues to maintain rhythm during long runs.
